Percussion Extravaganza!

The WYSO PERCUSSION EXTRAVAGANZA is an exciting and high energy musical event featuring amazing student and professional percussionists from the Madison area and beyond! Performers will include the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras Percussion Ensemble, the WYSO Percussion Pilots, the UW-Madison Graduate and World Music Percussion Ensembles, and the Packers Tundra Line, the official drumline of the Green Bay Packers.

WYSO Teacher Forum

Calling all instrumental music teachers to join us on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00am – 12:00 pm at Madison Country Day School for a one hour meeting (approximate) facilitated by the great cellist and teacher, Uri Vardi. The forum will create a space for instrumental music teachers to meet, tell stories, swap strategies and ideas, and provide mutual support.

Brass Choirs Concert

The WYSO Brass Choirs Concert will present “An Afternoon of Brass” on Saturday, May 7 at 3:00 pm at McFarland High School.
The concert will feature all WYSO brass musicians in an exciting program of trumpets, horns, trombones, and tubas. Free and open to the public.

Sonora Slocum Virtual Masterclass
