You are invited to attend the 2022 Diane Ballweg Winterfest Concert Series: Youth Orchestra Concert.
The concert will be preceded by the award presentation ceremony for the 2021 Rabin Youth Arts Awardee, Dennis McKinley. The ceremony was scheduled to take place in Spring 2021, but was postponed due to COVID-19 guidelines that restricted the size of gatherings. To make up for this delay, WYSO chose to present the award in front of one of the biggest and most gracious audiences we could muster: families, fans, and members of WYSO’s Youth Orchestra. Diane Ballweg will present the award at 7:00 pm just prior to the Youth Orchestra Concert.

If you would like to attend a WYSO in-person concert or recital, the process is simple.
You must provide at the door:
Parking Instructions for the Concert
The staff at the McFarland Performing Arts Center has requested that both the WYSO audience and student musicians use the Performing Arts Center door at the front of McFarland High School (off of Farwell St.) in order to leave sufficient parking behind the building (off of Exchange St.) for those who have difficulty walking or are carrying large instruments (harps, string bass).
To enter at the front of the high school, turn right off Farwell St. and proceed toward the right side of the building (toward the red dot in the diagram below). Once parked, you will enter through Door A and stroll through the building following the signs, to arrive at the PAC from the inside.
