Tuition Information for the 2026-2027 Season
Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies
Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level. Tuition represents less than 20% of the total cost to support a musician in the program.
- Youth Orchestra – $1,100
- Philharmonia Orchestra – $1,100
- Concert Orchestra – $1,000
- Sinfonietta – $900
- Opus One – $825
- Harp Program (Orchestra) – $925
- Harp Ensemble Only – $525
- Chamber Music Program – $525
- Flute Choir – $525
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Tuition must be paid in full by Saturday, July 18, 2026, or a payment installment plan must be set up by that date. Families who need to set up a payment plan will be able to do so directly in the registration form. If additional assistance is needed, families may contact the WYSO office at wyso@wysomusic.org, and we will be happy to help.
A $50 late fee will be added if no payment has been received and no payment plan has been set up by the first week of rehearsals (September 12).
Tuition balance must be paid in full by April 2027. Failure to do so will preclude the member from performing.
Forms of Payment
WYSO accepts personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks. WYSO also accepts ACH fund transfers. Please contact wyso@wysomusic.org to make ACH arrangements.

REFUND POLICY
If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:
- Dropout on or before Saturday, September 12, 2026: Refund of total tuition paid minus a $75 processing fee.*
- Dropout on Sunday, September 13, 2026 through Saturday, October 31, 2026: $200 refund.*
- Dropout on/after Sunday, November 1, 2026: No tuition refund.*
*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced.
