Tuition Information for the 2022-2023 Season

Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies

Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level. Tuition represents less than 30% of the total cost to support a musician in the program.

  • Youth Orchestra – $850
  • Philharmonia Orchestra – $775
  • Concert Orchestra – $700
  • Sinfonietta – $675
  • Opus One – $600
  • Harp Program – $700
  • Chamber Music Program – $400

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Tuition must be paid in full by Friday, August 12, or in two installments postmarked by Friday, August 12 and Tuesday, September 6. A $50 late fee will be charged for any payment postmarked after the due date.

Should you wish to make a different payment arrangement, please email wyso@wysomusic.org to discuss a payment plan. If no payment or payment arrangements have been made by the first rehearsal, the WYSO member will not be permitted to attend the rehearsal.

PAYMENT POLICY

WYSO accepts cash, personal and cashier’s checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.

Credit card payments are subject to a 3% transaction fee. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

WYSO also accepts ACH fund transfers. Please email wyso@wysomusic.org for details.

REFUND POLICY

If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:

  1. Dropout on or before Saturday, September 10: Refund of total tuition paid minus a $50 processing fee.
  2. Dropout on Sunday, September 11 through Friday, November 4: $200 refunded.
  3. Dropout on/after Saturday, November 5: No tuition refund.

*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced according to the payment policy.
