Tuition Information for the 2021-2022 Season
Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies
Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level. Tuition represents less than 30% of the total cost to support a musician in the program.
- Youth Orchestra – $725
- Philharmonia Orchestra – $675
- Concert Orchestra – $600
- Sinfonietta – $575
- Opus One – $525
- Harp Program – $600
- Chamber Music Program – $275
Tuition must be paid in full by Thursday, August 5, or in two installments postmarked by Thursday, August 5 and Tuesday, September 7. A $50 late fee will be charged for any payment postmarked after the due date.
Should you wish to make a different payment arrangement, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss a payment plan. If no payment or payment arrangements have been made by the first rehearsal, the WYSO member will not be permitted to attend the rehearsal.
WYSO accepts personal and cashier’s checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. WYSO does not accept cash for tuition payment.

Credit card payments are subject to a 3% transaction fee. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:
- Dropout on or before Friday, September 10: Refund of total tuition paid minus a $50 processing fee.
- Dropout on Saturday, September 11 through Friday, November 12: $200 refunded.
- Dropout on/after Saturday, November 13: No tuition refund.
*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced according to the payment policy.
