Tuition Information for the 2025-2026 Season

Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies

Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level. Tuition represents less than 30% of the total cost to support a musician in the program.

  • Youth Orchestra – $995
  • Philharmonia Orchestra – $995
  • Concert Orchestra – $900
  • Sinfonietta – $800
  • Opus One – $725
  • Harp Program (Orchestra) – $825
  • Harp Ensemble Only – $425
  • Chamber Music Program – $425
  • Flute Choir – $400

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Tuition must be paid in full by Saturday, July 19, 2025 or in two installments postmarked by Saturday, July 19, 2025 and Tuesday, August 19, 2025. WYSO will gladly set up payment plans (prior to the first rehearsal) with any families who are unable to make tuition payments as scheduled above. Please email wyso@wysomusic.org to schedule a payment plan.

A $50 late fee will be charged for any payment postmarked after the due date. If no payment or payment arrangements have been arranged by the first rehearsal, the WYSO member will not be permitted to perform.

Tuition balance must be paid in full by April 2026. Failure to do so will preclude the member from performing.

Forms of Payment

WYSO accepts cash, personal and cashier’s checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks. WYSO also accepts ACH fund transfers. Please contact wyso@wysomusic.org to make ACH arrangements.

REFUND POLICY

If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:

  1. Dropout on or before Saturday, September 6, 2025: Refund of total tuition paid minus a $75 processing fee.*
  2. Dropout on Sunday, September 7, 2025 through Saturday, October 25,  2025: $200 refunded.*
  3. Dropout on/after Sunday, October 26, 2025: No tuition refund.*

*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced.
