Jasmine Maller

My name is Jasmine Maller and I am a graduating senior from Mayville High School. I have been in WYSO for four years and currently play flute in Philharmonia as well as have played piano for three years in the chamber program. Coming from a small school, WYSO was the first opportunity I had to ever play in an orchestra. I’ll never forget my first rehearsal when I heard the strings tune. I was in awe! WYSO further drove my curiosity and love of music all while continuing to build my musicianship. But, the best part of all was making music with my talented peers and the friends I made. Flute, however, is not my main instrument. I have been studying classical piano since age four and ever since middle school knew that playing piano is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I will be attending Lawrence University Conservatory of Music to major in Piano Performance. Thank you WYSO for the past four years and to all of the music educators in my music journey thus far. I am extremely excited to see what the next four hold.
