The Music Makers community gathers to kick off the year with food, fun, and orientation for students and families. This casual outdoor event welcomes new and returning participants with opportunities to meet teaching artists, learn about the season ahead, and connect with fellow families over a shared meal.

Join Us for Notes & Narratives on March 22nd! Step into the world of Gustav Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” at the WYSO Center for Music. This elegant evening features a captivating pre-concert talk with WYSO Music Director Kyle Knox, followed by a stunning performance of Mahler’s symphony with WYSO musicians, members of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and two renowned vocalists Chaz’men Williams-Ali and Mary Mackenzie.

You’re invited to WYSO’s Evelyn Steenbock Fall Concert Series: Philharmonia Orchestra! The Philharmonia Orchestra will perform at the Verona Area High School Performing Arts Center on Sunday, November 17th from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm.

You’re invited to the Diane Ballweg Winterfest Concert Series! The Concert-Philharmonia Brass Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra will perform at the Sun Prairie West Performing Arts Center on March 2nd from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Join us for an evening of chamber music! This event will take place at the WYSO Center for Music on May 11th from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

Join us for the Fall Music Makers Concert at the MyArts Theater! This event takes place on December 17th from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Join us for the Music Makers Spring Recital to celebrate our student soloists! The concert will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 12th, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Skills will range from beginning to advanced.

Join us on Sunday, December 15th at 3:00pm for the Music Makers Fall Concert! Hosted at the WYSO Center for Music, students will perform with ensemble groups in violin, percussion, guitar, and more!
