All WYSO alumni are cordially invited to attend the UW School of Music and WYSO Alumni Reunion October 25 through October 27. The reunion is in conjunction with the Hamel Music Center opening weekend celebration. Highlights from the weekend include an opportunity to attend the official Hamel Music Center ribbon cutting, observe a WYSO rehearsal in Mills Hall, and of course, reconnect with WYSO friends.

Alumni Reception Check-In beginning at 3 pm

NOTE: The Pyle Center, Old Red Gym and Memorial Union are all located on the same block of Langdon Street. Prior to the reception on Saturday afternoon, we recommend you stop by the recently remodeled Memorial Union and Union Terrace, as well as Alumni Park located between the Union and the Old Red Gym.
Reunion Reception: 3:30-6 pm
NOTE: The beautiful Alumni Lounge of the Pyle Center overlooking Lake Mendota is the setting for this reception for alumni, faculty, staff, guests and friends and friends of the School of Music and WYSO. This block of time may be your best opportunity to talk with others. You can make the substantial hors d’oeuvres your dinner and then walk the short distance to attend evening performances at the Hamel Music Center.

NOTE: We welcome the return of eight of our 65 Collins Fellows, recipients of fully funded graduate fellowships. The concert will feature Ilia Radoslavov (piano); Iva Ugrcic (flute); Elias Goldstein (viola); Jamie-Rose Guarrine (soprano); Todd Hammes (percussion); Satoko Hayami (collaborative piano); Jamie Ryan (percussion); and Dylan Chmura-Moore (trombone).
