Peter Baggenstoss

Peter Baggenstoss was born in northern Minnesota where he began playing piano at the age of five. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Mathematics. Since moving to Madison, Peter has had the opportunity to play with many award-winning groups, and can be seen performing in a wide variety of genres such as jazz, latin, funk, classical, rock, and several styles of music from West Africa. In addition to playing the piano, Peter is an avid percussionist, with ample experience playing the music from various regions of Brazil. Peter has been teaching for over ten years, and enjoys working with students of all ages and musical interests.
