You are invited to attend the 2022 Bolz Family Concert Series: Youth Orchestra Concert. This concert will be a special end-of-year event, taking place at the beautiful Hamel Music Center on the UW campus. The Youth Orchestra will play four works in the concert, all conducted by Maestro Kyle Knox.
The concert will begin with La Boutique Fantasque Suite by Gioacchino Rossini. (Orchestrated by Ottorino Respighi and arranged by Malcolm Sargent, Ed. Nancy Bradburd
The second piece will be Violin Concerto in D minor, op. 47, I. Allegro Moderato by Jean Sibelius, featuring the Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition winner, Ava Kenney, playing the violin. Learn more about Ava Kenney here.
The third piece will be “The Moldau” from Ma Vlast by Bedřich Smetana
The concert will finish with Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 by Edward Elgar
This concert is open to the public and tickets are now on sale at Campus Arts Ticketing, $10 for children and $20 for adults.
COVID PROTOCOL: The audience is required to wear masks. No vaccination cards or tests required.
