Victoria Rockman

Victoria Rockman is a WYSO alumna (1985-1988). She studied Flute Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with Dr. James Grine and is a former member of the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra.

She maintains a flute studio in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, with students from as far away as North Carolina. Her students participate in the Oshkosh Youth Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, Winds of Wisconsin, Shell Lake Honors Camp, WSMA State Honors Band and Orchestra, Interlochen, Birch Creek Symphony, and other honors performing opportunities. They consistently receive top honors in district and state competitions, and many have gone on to pursue music degrees.

Victoria’s students are also educated in flute choir experience at both the middle school and high school levels. She recently led a flute choir to an invited performance for the National Flute Association’s 50th Anniversary Convention in Chicago, and the 2023 Wisconsin Flute Festival.
