Reserve a dedicated rehearsal and lessons space
Having a space that is dedicated only to rehearsing or giving lessons can make all the difference in the world. At the WYSO Center for Music our individual practice and lesson rooms are great for focusing on work without feeling cramped. These rooms are sound-proof, well-lit, and with regular air circulation so your room avoids feeling stuffy. When you reserve at the WYSO Center, your room is guaranteed to have the number of music stands and chairs you’ve asked for – all you have to do is step through the door and get to work! And for when you need a break, there are plenty of comfortable seats, kitchens, and restrooms nearby.
Piano Lab
- Room contains 9 Kawai keyboards, including one for an instructor, and headset and individual microphones connecting each keyboard user to the instructor for easy communication.
- Instructor keyboard has an overhead camera, allowing a feed to be visible on a large television screen located above and behind the instructor so that students can easily follow along with fingerings.
- Ideal teaching space for piano, music theory, and compositions classes.
