The WYSO Center for Music is a state-of-the-art community gathering and performance space available for rent for your next big rehearsal, recital, or corporate event. Home of the world-renowned Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, this brand-new multi-use facility is located on East Washington Avenue one mile east of Capitol Square in the heart of Madison’s bourgeoning downtown arts corridor.
Built with the latest eco-conscious design practices and staffed by a friendly team of WYSO Center event coordinators, this naturally lit and inviting new building is the perfect choice for any community or corporate event, no matter its size or budget.

Choose Your space
At the WYSO Center for Music, we work hard to match your event to just the right space. We start by determining the size of the room(s) you’ll need based on your spatial requirements, how many guests you have, and your budget. If you know these details already, start by checking out our Large Halls, Mid-size Meeting Rooms, or Small Studios below. Then submit your name and email through our contact form or give us a call – or stop by for a tour!
Large Halls
- Approximately 2,500-2,900 sq. ft.
- Can accommodate 125 – 200 guests
- Starts at $75/hour
Mid-Size Meeting Rooms
- Approximately 400-950 sq. ft.
- Can accommodate 25 – 30 guests
- Starts at $35/hour
Small Studios
- Approximately 80-200 sq. ft.
- Can accommodate up to 15 guests
- Starts at $25/hour

Come see us In Person
At the WYSO Center for Music, we take the security of our building and our guests very seriously; so unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate drop-in visitors.
But the WYSO Center for Music hosts a weekly open house tour, every Thursday at 4:00pm Central, where a dedicated staff member will be available to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
