Charles McLimans has an extensive track record of leadership experience as a corporate and nonprofit executive. He is currently the President of New Health Chiropractic & Integrated Healthcare in Fitchburg, and formerly served as CEO of Holy Wisdom Monastery in Middleton, Wisconsin, and President & CEO at The River Food Pantry in Madison, Wisconsin. For the past 19 years he has devoted his professional and volunteer time and attention to food and income equality, racial and LGBT equity and inclusion, and the arts.
He currently is a member and serves on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Madison where he is the Immediate Past President and is a trustee of the Madison Rotary Foundation. He also serves on the Madison Symphony Orchestra Friends of the Concert Organ board, the City of Fitchburg Community Equity Council, and formerly the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras board.
Charles has a lifelong passion for classical music and grew up playing the organ and piano. He enjoys helping organizations achieve their highest potential through organizational leadership, philanthropy, community engagement, and strategic planning using the Appreciative Inquiry framework. He and his partner, Richard, are residents of Fitchburg where they also own and operate New Health Chiropractic & Integrated Healthcare.
