This week the Music Makers Summer Session series will include a special exclusive workshop for Music Makers students in which players are provided quick and practical feedback on a short piece they perform for the group, followed by a potluck dinner for students and their families, and culminating in a family-friendly public performance at the WYSO Center for Music. This week’s 6:30pm concert by the Tuuli Quartet will include a diverse collection of styles and composers and each work will be briefly introduced with helpful information and context by the performers before they play.
Next week, Friday July 19th, The WYSO Center will host Rebulú, a 9-member Afro-Caribbean band. (At-will donations will be accepted at the venue for both Tuuli Quartet and Rebulú.) The third and final concert on Friday July 26th will be performed by the Willy Street Chamber Players.
