Anna Desfor

Anna Desfor is a Midwest-based percussionist currently earning her DMA in Percussion Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the guidance of Dr. Tony Di Sanza. Anna is an active performer and educator in the area and particularly enjoys collaborating with friends and fellow musicians in chamber music settings; emphasis on connection through music led to the establishment of her flute/percussion group, The Riojas Duo, with Chicago based flautist, Kamryn Lindley. She has also enjoyed performance opportunities across the country, including the Inaugural Arcata Gathering, Percussive Arts Society International Convention, and with groups such as the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Arts Orchestra, and Theatre of the Big Bend. When at home, Anna accompanies her mandolin-playing partner, Sam, in serenading their three guinea pigs.
