Join us for an afternoon of joyful music-making as WYSO Music Makers students take the stage for their Fall Concert. This performance celebrates the growth and dedication of our young musicians, many of whom are just beginning their musical journeys. Families, friends, and community members are warmly invited to share in the energy, heart, and progress on display.

The Music Makers community gathers to kick off the year with food, fun, and orientation for students and families. This casual outdoor event welcomes new and returning participants with opportunities to meet teaching artists, learn about the season ahead, and connect with fellow families over a shared meal.

Join Us for Notes & Narratives on March 22nd! Step into the world of Gustav Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” at the WYSO Center for Music. This elegant evening features a captivating pre-concert talk with WYSO Music Director Kyle Knox, followed by a stunning performance of Mahler’s symphony with WYSO musicians, members of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and two renowned vocalists Chaz’men Williams-Ali and Mary Mackenzie.

You’re invited to the Diane Ballweg Winterfest Concert Series! The Concert-Philharmonia Brass Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra will perform at the Sun Prairie West Performing Arts Center on March 2nd from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Join us for an evening of WYSO Music Makers Recitals! This event will occur at the WYSO Center for Music on April 28th from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Join us for the Music Makers Spring Recital to celebrate our student soloists! The concert will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 12th, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Skills will range from beginning to advanced.
