About the event
Celebrate the extraordinary talent of WYSO’s young artists at the Concerto Competition Honors Recital. Finalists from across WYSO’s orchestras perform the concerto movements that earned them top honors in this year’s competition. From virtuosic showpieces to lyrical masterworks, this program showcases the dedication, musicality, and artistry of our student performers.
Audiences will experience a wide range of repertoire, each selection chosen by the soloist. This is a chance to hear the next generation of classical musicians in an intimate and inspiring setting.

About the Concerto Competition
Open to eligible WYSO musicians by audition, the annual Concerto Competition provides invaluable performance experience and professional feedback. Winners are chosen by outside adjudicators for their technical excellence, musical expression, and stage presence.
